Goods in transit

Goods can face many hazards in transit: theft, water damage, breakage, and more. Risks multiply as trade flows grow and globalisation makes them more complex. The ever-larger size of cargo ships concentrates values as never before (intensity risk). It is the company's responsibility to cover its raw materials, products and equipment wherever they are — whether carried by its own means or handed over to a carrier.
