You can cancel your policy:

• at the annual renewal date of the contract, observing the 2-month notice period, by sending the insurer a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt at least 2 months before the renewal date — or, after receiving the annual renewal notice, by registered letter within 20 days of its dispatch under the French "Loi Châtel";
• in the event of a rate increase, by sending the insurer a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt;
• in the event of sale or destruction of the insured vehicle, by sending the insurer a cancellation request together with the supporting documents by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, even outside the annual renewal date;
• in the event of a move, change of marital status or change of profession, by sending the insurer a cancellation request together with the supporting documents by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, even outside the annual renewal date.
